Lila Young, M.Ed., CRC, CVE

Choosing a path after high school is one of the most important decisions a young person and their family will make. Yet for many families, the questions don't end at graduation. Whether planning for college, exploring career options, supporting a young adult who feels uncertain about their future, or helping an adult child gain greater independence, knowing where to begin can feel overwhelming.

My passion is helping students and young adults discover who they are, identify meaningful opportunities, and move confidently toward adulthood with a clear, individualized plan.

As a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and Certified Vocational Evaluator (CVE) with a master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, I have spent my career helping individuals identify their strengths, overcome barriers, and discover opportunities in education, careers, and employment. My experience includes working with students and young adults of all abilities while helping families navigate educational, vocational, and transition planning with confidence. Whether someone is college-bound, pursuing technical training, entering the workforce, exploring career options, or needs additional support to achieve greater independence, I believe every individual deserves a plan designed specifically for them.

I founded 516 Vocational Services because I believe meaningful career planning goes beyond a generic career assessment. Every evaluation, consultation, and recommendation is tailored to the individual, providing families with the clarity and confidence they need to navigate college, technical education, apprenticeships, employment, military service, or other postsecondary pathways.

Whether you're a parent seeking guidance, a student preparing for the future, a young adult searching for direction, or a school looking for expert consultation, my goal is the same: to provide thoughtful guidance, practical recommendations, and a personalized roadmap for success.

Because every student and young adult deserves a bridge to a successful future.
